I am a researcher with over 20 years experience in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. As an expert in social computing and technologically-mediated communication, I am focused on creating technology that is human-centered.
I was trained at UC Berkeley (B.A. 2004) and the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities (Ph.D. 2016). Over the past few years, I have had the pleasure to research with a variety of companies including Calabrio, NovuHealth, Resideo (formerly Honeywell) and Best Buy. I have also provided research consulting work for Phase 5 Experience Design, Open Door Mental Health Services, Smart Revenue, University of Minnesota, Trek Medics, AccessSOS, and several individuals.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to the theater, camping, and hiking. I'm always happy to chat over coffee.
